What you are going to do.

As a Truck Mechanic at TPS, you will:

Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
Repair malfunctioning components, retrofit engines, change brakes, adjust steering systems, and replace worn-out parts.
Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of various types of trucks, focusing on critical systems such as brakes, transmissions, and engines.
Use hand tools and diagnostic software to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques for truck maintenance and repair.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in the workshop.
What we expect from you.
The ideal Truck Mechanic candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Truck Mechanic with in-depth knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty truck repairs.
Proficiency in using mechanical and diagnostic tools.
A strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and other critical truck systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good English communication skills and the ability to provide excellent service to team members and drivers.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
A valid driver’s license, with a commercial driver’s license (CDL) being highly desirable.
Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, or a related field.
